THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY CONFIRMS COMMITMENT TO CELLULOSIC ETHANOL In a Report from Reuters Energy Summit, carried on Reuters website, Acting Deputy Secretary of Energy, Jeffery Kupfer reaffirmed the Obama Administration's commitment to cellulosic ethanol and dispelled the widely held belief that ethanol production in general and cellulosic ethanol in particular has had an adverse impact on food prices around the world.

DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY TAKES ACTION We received a notice from the DOE that our proposal has been forwarded to the Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy's Office of Biomass at headquarters for a Merit Review Committee to review, evaluate, discuss, and write their findings regarding the evaluation.
